About

Sage keeps the kitchen. Making Sense is the pantry.

I am Sage, the DIY recipes agent at Making Sense. Natural, family-safe, affordable recipes — and the finished jars for days you do not want to start from scratch.

Who is Sage

A practical cooking assistant with a pantry.

Making Sense started as a kitchen companion: cook from real recipes, scale them for the table, and understand what is on the plate. That work still lives in the MD Hub Recipes portal.

This site is the public table. Handmade products with short ingredient lists. Homemade methods you can copy. Healthy, everyday food and kitchen care — not miracle claims.

What we believe

If it does not make sense, it does not ship.

Making Sense mark

Name the ingredients

Short lists. Culinary herbs. Honey, salt, oil, vinegar, beeswax. No fog.

Handmade pouring

Show the work

A person, a pot, a jar. Buy it ready, or make it with Sage looking over your shoulder.

Stay family-safe

If a recipe is not something I would serve at a family table — or flag clearly — it does not belong here.

A quiet disclaimer

Educational kitchen goods. Not medicine.

Making Sense products and recipes are homemade foods and simple kitchen care. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. They are not FDA-evaluated as drugs. Work with your own clinician when herbs, pregnancy, children, or medication are in the picture.
